One tooth or defect of many teeth
One tooth or several teeth defect can be treated in two ways. First –in a place of a lacking tooth an implant is grafted and a crown is placed on it. The second way is replacement of a lacking tooth by supporting it on the adjacent teeth. However, this requires grinding of two adjacent teeth and placing a three-point porcelain bridge. The porcelain bridge is permanently fixed to the tooth pillars –the patient cannot remove it. It takes as much space as the patient’s natural teeth before. Its disadvantage however is, that healthy teeth often require to be ground. From this point of view, as well as in respect of the uncomfortable later use of the bridge, an implant seems to be a much more perfect solution.
Porcelain crowns and bridges can be made on the ceramic foundation (PORCERA), on the glass foundation (In-Ceram) or the metal one (galvanic gold, titanium, gold or steel alloys). Using one of those types of material depends on the patient’s cosmetic requirements and on the number of lacking teeth.
PROCERA - crowns and bridges
A full PROCERA porcelain (without a metal foundation) can be used for reconstruction of all teeth. Dint to the use of natural ingredients we get the teeth aesthetically close to the natural ones. Above that, they are twice as durable as the other ceramic solutions. Crowns and bridges of Procera porcelain are strong, they conduct light (it gives the effect of a natural tooth), they do not change their colour, they are also perfectly fitted. Because of these qualities, Procera is especially recommended in the front area.

IN-CERAM ALUMINA - crowns and bridges

Crowns and bridges - porcelain gold based
They improve the cosmetics of discoloured, splintered, badly formed teeth or the teeth with many fillings. Gold which forms the founding for the porcelain adheres very precisely to the tooth tissue and so prevents caries without causing any infection. It is invisible in the patient’s mouth.
Crowns and bridges - porcelain steel based
They are less precise than the porcelain crowns and bridges gold - based. They are less expensive alternative of the work done on gold.
Light-hardened composite crowns of SYNFONY
They improve the aesthetics of the teeth - for discoloured or badly shaped teeth.
Porcelain veneers
It improves the aesthetics of the discoloured, splintered, badly formed or dead teeth. Because of good adhesiveness of porcelain veeners to the tooth tissue, the condition of good maintenance of the veener is that teeth must be without fillings. A porcelain veener does not change its colour.
