I stage: A diagnostic visit, during which an impression
of both jaws is taken and an RTG photograph.
On that basis orthodontist takes measures of dentition, make calculations
and simulations. It allows us to choose a dental braces appropriate
for the patient and also to plan the treatment in such a
way that would provide an effect as quick as possible and
would meet the patient’s expectations.
II stage: The efficiency of treatment requires regular control visits. The
patient should meet the orthodontist at least once a month.
During these visits the dentist controls the progress of
treatment and regulates the volume of the force of the braces
that works on teeth. Permanent control visits are crucial
for the proper course of treatment. Without them, the braces
could exert an effect opposite to the expected, e.g. could
worsen the existing defect or cause another occlusion disturbance.
