Planning of the implantology treatment is preceded by a roentgenography (computed tomography) and precise diagnosing. It allows the dentist to define condition of teeth and propose to the patient solutions adequate both to these conditions and to patient’s expectations.

The course of dental treatment depends on the chosen solution. Both its duration and schedule of visits can be defined by the dentist after the first visit.

The procedure of fixing an implant is done with the local anaesthesia, which makes it totally painless. It is possible that couple of days after the procedure some suffering may appear, but they are usually not greater than in the case of an extraction.

Implants are little screws to replace the tooth root, onto which the crown is fixed. Implants are made of titanium, which is very effective at fusing with live bone, and makes the implant a natural, stable foundation for a tooth.
